Hi I think there is a mistake made for the fermi energy in the excentric regime for N_A>N_D. Namely if we found that n_h \approx N_A-N_D and that n_h \approx N_v e^{\frac{E_v-E_f}{k_bT}} this would result to E_f = E_v+k_bT ln\left(\frac{N_v}{N_A-N_D}\right) so I think that in the lecture notes you forgot the ā€˜E_vā€™
