Error in Tight-binding model

At the end of the notes on the tight-binding model, there is a list of steps to calculate the density of states. Steps 3 and 4 are:

  1. Sum or integrate dk/dE over the allowed values of k found in 1 and multiply by any degeneracies (spin/polarization).
  2. Multiply by spin degeneracy.

Is this an error, or do we really need to multiply by the spin degeneracy twice?

Thanks, fixed!
