At the end of the notes on the tight-binding model, there is a list of steps to calculate the density of states. Steps 3 and 4 are:
- Sum or integrate dk/dE over the allowed values of k found in 1 and multiply by any degeneracies (spin/polarization).
- Multiply by spin degeneracy.
Is this an error, or do we really need to multiply by the spin degeneracy twice?
