Hi i have a question about the solutions of questions 2e mini test 3 2019
Why do we have to include the term V_0 in the hamiltonian? As this is not done in the lecture notes.
V_0 is included in the exercises. In the lecture notes it was omitted for brevity. However we don’t subtract points for not including V_0 because it has no physical significance.
